Teacher

Marie admires the tenacity of our youth. She believes that writing informs our humanity and as a result is a necessary component of teaching.

Her wealth of experience includes teaching in Massachusetts and New Hampshire public schools. Marie developed curriculum at the high school and college level. She taught at Suffolk University and the University of Massachusetts Boston. Marie created the Nantucket Writing Retreat sponsored by the Boston Writing Project for teachers. She continues to work with teenagers at the high school level in New Hampshire.
